I have come to realize the utter awesomeness and power the Green brothers possess. People have used their ability to reach out to people to ask girls to prom, and to ask girls to marry them. To be that important is REALLY COOL.

ANYWAY I cut my foot today in dance and it hurts when I walk on it, which is wonderful considering that I have dance tomorrow and two of the classes are w/o anything on my feet.

I'm Falling Apart

Dance is killing me. G:AOKHGLAKHG:SDOGH and it's the classes that I love that are beating me down...

I only like jazz and contemporary and I don't mind pilates... ballet is fun ish but I suck so it's not as much fun. Hip hop is okay but I'm in intermediate and it's hard and that's not what should be happening. Plus tap is just... ggggnnn. Ballet is definitely the hardest. And we were supposed to remember something for tomorrow and I have no recollection of any of it except that there are a lot of arabesques... A:GLKHSD:OGH

Help me.

I can "complete my album" for Hook Me Up by The Veronicas on iTunes for $4.05, but there's this one song that's really annoying....

Anyways, even though I'm very happy about making Elite, I can't help but focus on the fact that I only made one dance form when I really wanted to make hip hop. Plus they moved me up in ballet. In the e-mail they said they wanted to be able to cast me in more than one dance, which is odd considering that they didn't put me through in anything else. There's another tryout that they suggested I go to so that I could try and get into other forms, but I'm going to be in Europe. Oh well. It's a little annoying, but what can I do? C'est la vie.

Related to dance, for a few months I wanted to ask Robin (my teacher) what I should do if I want to start pointe in the next two years or so. I never asked, and now that I've been bumped up to 7/8, I won't have a class with her anymore. I'm not really up to asking Laura (I'm pretty sure she teaches 7/8) and I don't really know what to do about that. Maybe I'll just bug Lucia a bit and ask her how she got started.

I made Elite!!! Just for jazz, BUT I'M SO HAPPY ANYWAY!!! They said that I should go into ballet 7/8, which shocked me because I totally sucked at ballet that day. BUT HOORAY!!!!

Elite Audition

So my elite audition was today. I didn't feel very good about it when I got home. I totally sucked at ballet, but that's okay because I'm not very good anyways and so it was more of a learning experience. I didn't do as well as I wanted to do in jazz, I kept messing up. Hip hop was kind of a disaster until she changed the song to a slower one. I think that I'll be really disappointed in myself if I don't make jazz, because that is the style that I feel confident in, the one that I know I can actually do and considering the fact that I'm in the highest level jazz class they have before elite, that would seriously suck if I didn't make that. Plus, these auditions help them determine what levels you need to be in for all of your classes. So I hope that it went okay. I find out on Monday.
